TSG Alert Level
CURRENT LEVEL: ELEVATED
SITUATION: Possible flooding event. 200-250mm due to fall in short space of time.
We operate a real time alert system which is to be used by TSG members and those in the local area. Here is how we group of alerts.
SEVERE | IMMINENT DANGER OR THREAT
HIGH | A WARNING IS IN PLACE
ELEVATED | AN ADVISORY IS IN PLACE
NORMAL | MONITORING CURRENT EVENTS, NO IMMEDIATE THREAT TO NZ
LOW | NO WARNINGS OR THREATS
What They Mean:
SEVERE – Major widespread disaster imminent. (Nuclear War, Economic Collapse, Major Tsunami, Earthquake, Volcanic Eruption). TSG Camp Activated, Make your way to the camps!
HIGH – Threat of major widespread disaster highly likely. TSG members to ensure they are fully prepared and ready to leave for camp. Preparations are currently in place to establish the camp by TSG immediately.
ELEVATED – An elevated threat of a disaster (for example, tensions in stock market, minor war, volcano showing signs, rioting, earthquake, minor tsunami). TSG not at position to establish camp. Be Prepared!
NORMAL – Standard alert level. The TSG are currently monitoring global events. Generally no immediate danger to New Zealand.
LOW – No chance of an event. Rare. This level will almost never happen unless the technology of this planet becomes somewhat more advanced.
